It’s snowing. Is there school today?

FlashAlert is a web based program that automatically informs you of our school's emergencies, school closures, schedule changes, and later starts. The FlashAlert system gives you emergency messages by phone or e-mail, and lets you monitor updates online such as breaking news and important news releases from our school district. The principal encourages you to sign-up for this free service. To investigate this service or to subscribe, go to FlashAlert.

Parents can keep updated by calling the Tenino Elementary School Information Line at 264-6603.

When it’s snowing outside, notification of school closures and delays are also announced between 6:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on radio stations KGY (1240), KGY FM (96.9), KELA (1470), KXXO (96.1 FM), KMNT (102.9 FM), and KITI (1420); and TV stations KOMO, KING, and KIRO. Radio stations will also announce early dismissals due to inclement weather.

When classes are still in session during winter weather, buses may operate on special "snow routes.”
